I was commissioned by The London Library to photograph an event celebrating the launch of From the Silence of the Stacks: New Voices Rise Vol. V. The evening brought together emerging writers, supporters and members for readings, conversation and a warm celebration of new literary talent. My aim was to capture the atmosphere – the pride, the energy and the quiet moments between the stacks that make this institution so special.
