These terms and conditions apply to all photography services provided by Max Event Photography. By making a booking, the Client agrees to be bound by the following terms.
1. Definitions
The Photographer: Max Event Photography
The Client: The individual or organisation commissioning the services
Images: Photographic images, digital files, and any other deliverables produced by the Photographer
2. Services
The Photographer will provide event photography in accordance with the brief agreed at the time of booking. Unless otherwise stated, services include:
A pre-event consultation equating to no more than 30 minutes of the Photographer's time. 
Full professional editing (selection, colour/exposure correction, consistency adjustments, cropping)
Delivery of final edited images in a secure online gallery
Gallery access for 30 days from the date of delivery
Standard turnaround of 2 working days
Travel within Greater London

3. Fees, deposits and payment
Standard rate: £150 per hour, minimum two-hour booking.
Non-standard hours (outside 9am–6pm): additional £50.
Bookings of 4 hours or more require a 30% deposit to secure the date.
Remaining payment is due within 10 working days of the Client receiving the final images.
Travel outside Greater London is charged at cost.
The Photographer reserves the right to suspend delivery of images if payment is overdue.
4. Cancellation and postponement
Cancellation more than 48 hours before the event: no fee.
Cancellation within 48 hours of the event: £150 cancellation charge.
If either party is affected by illness, accident, transport failure or force majeure, both sides will make reasonable efforts to reschedule.
If rescheduling is not possible, liability is limited to a refund of any fees already paid.
5. Deliverables
The Photographer supplies:
A curated selection of edited images
Full size JPEG files at 72ppi (other formats available on request)
Online gallery delivery
Raw files are never supplied unless otherwise agreed in writing.
6. Copyright
All images remain the copyright of Max Event Photography. Copyright is never transferred as part of the service.
The Photographer retains the right to:
Use images for portfolio, website, and social media
Use images in printed marketing materials
Use images for editorial, award submissions, and promotional activity
The Photographer will not use images in contexts that would be reasonably deemed harmful, misleading or inappropriate.
7. Licensing and permitted use
Upon full payment, the Client receives an extended commercial licence, which includes:

What the Client can do:
Use images on their website, social media, internal comms, and digital platforms
Use images in press releases, publications, marketing campaigns and advertising
Share images internally within their organisation
Crop or resize images to fit layouts
Provide images to third-party press outlets only when directly related to the Client’s activity
What the Client cannot do:
Sell, gift or transfer the images to any third party
Allow third parties (e.g. partner organisations, venues, sponsors) to use the images unless agreed in writing with the Photographer prior to the job
Apply filters or edits that materially distort or misrepresent the Photographer’s work
Use the images in a defamatory or misleading context
Claim copyright ownership
Unless the Photographer otherwise states in writing, the licence is perpetual, worldwide, and royalty-free, but remains non-transferable.
8. Credits
Photo credits are appreciated but not required.
Where a credit is included, the correct attribution is “maxeventphoto.co.uk”.
9. Liability and limitations
The Photographer will exercise reasonable skill and care at all times. However:
Liability is limited to the total value of the fees paid
The Photographer is not liable for consequential or indirect losses
In the event of equipment failure, theft or other events beyond the Photographer’s control, liability is limited to a refund of any fees paid
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom, and any disputes shall be resolved under the jurisdiction of UK courts.
